Barrel Aged Colombia Jardin, City+ (med+) Roast, Limited Release
Special project with our friends at Delta Beer Lab
We selected our new Colombia offering to pair with a Driftless Glen charred oak barrel. This barrel, first utilized for Driftless Glen Bourbon and then Delta's amazing Admiral BA Grand Stout. The green coffee was aged to desired moisture content and then roasted carefully to maintain the terroir of the barrel, bourbon, and beer. The resulting cup is mellow and not overpowering as found in many barrel aged coffee projects. Enjoy the balanced nose, cup and mouthfeel of this unique limited release. Also available at Delta Beer lab while supplies last.

This bean is from Jardin, Antioquia, one of the oldest traditional areas of coffee production in Colombia. This region is long recognized for the quality of its production. Colombian coffees are known for balance and body. The notes of cedar and cinnamon sweetness are mixed with very light toasted chocolate. A great cup with a brighter quality than other Colombian’s and a really pleasant spice finish.
