We are excited to announce a new opportunity for our friends to taste some of the rarest, limited released coffees available. Our new Rare Origin plan is an exclusive coffee shipped once a month to a limited number of buyers. These exceptionally delicious rare varieties provide access to some of the best, original coffees we’ve tasted, and we’re excited to share them with you!
These coffees tell a story. A story about its country of origin and the farmers that grow these unique coffees, often using labor intensive growing, drying, and processing techniques. Our first Rare Origins tour will showcase three exceptional coffees from Latin America.
December: Our first Rare Origin coffee is from Costa Rica Santa Maria. This naturally processed gem is grown by CoopeDota, the world's first certified carbon-neutral coffee exporter.
January: We’ll begin 2021 by offering Rare Origin beans from Honduras Guascotoro, a solar dried, honey processed Fair Trade Organic coffee grown by coffee farmer Ubaldo Gonzales. His family’s farm, a 7.5 Hectare plot called Finca La Joya, has been a part of Ubaldo’s family for more than a century.
February: Our February Rare Origin bean brings us to Mexico and the San Carlos Estate on the western slope of Volcan Tacana, a mountain bordering Guatemala. The Mexico Union Juarez microlot beans are processed through a manual procedure called washing.
How to buy Rare Origins: If you’d like to receive these exclusive beans, please reserve your Tour 1 spots now. The beans will ship on the first of the month. These are limited supply coffees, so please sign up for your choice of one, two, or all three months soon. Save 10% when purchasing the full tour.
