Costa Rica Tarrazu Washed - This coffee is a very easy-drinking, daily coffee. The clean mouthfeel will have you refilling your cup over and over. You'll find notes of butterscotch, rye and green apple.
Coffee grows in eight regions throughout Costa Rica. In the central and northern Costa Rican highlands, where most specialty coffee is found, coffee grows 1200 - 1700 meters above sea level. All Costa Rican coffee is wet milled, and this particular coffee is dried using both patios and mechanical dryers.
Peru Cajamarca FTO - This is an outstanding coffee out of the Cajamarca region in Peru. (One of our favorite regions!) This Fair Trade Organic coffee offers a big and juicy cup with notes of marshmallow, butter and black tea. We hope you enjoy this coffee - we thought it was a true standout when we tasted it against other recent crops.
A little bit of background on Peru's coffee trade: around 30 percent of the country’s smallholders are members of democratic co-ops. Peru is one of the top producers of Arabica coffee, often ranked fifth in world production and export of Arabica beans.
